Green Beans and Bacon · May 14, 09:09 AM by Katrina

dinner, vegetable, lunch

These are the tastiest greenbeans ever. Almost better than greenbean casserole.

They’re really easy to make too. Just chop up a little bit of bacon into little pieces (from a package where they’re layed almost on top of each other, cut about one inches worth off into strips is enough). Fry the bacon and drain all but a tablespoon or so of the bacon fat. Cook a few cups of greenbeans (frozen or fresh work best) until tender. Add the bacon and fat to the green beans, squeeze about a tablespoon or so of yellow mustard into the mix, and add about a tablespoon or so of brown sugar and mix. Adjust the mustard or brownsugar to your taste.

  2. Hi. In the future I’m going to keep here links to their sites. But I do not worry about the sites where my link is removed. So if you do not want to see a mountain of links, simply delete this message. After 2 weeks, I will come back and check.
